Our founder
Gosen Handmade is a group of craftsmen, designers, editors, and engineers from mainland China, Hong Kong, China, and Tokyo, Japan. Together, we form a professional team, and out of our deep love for oriental cultures, aesthetics, and spiritual energies, we have merged our design capabilities, craftsmanship, e-commerce, and technical skills that we have accumulated over the years to form the Gosen Handmade.
Johnny Zhao, the founder of Gosen Handmade, once suffered from bipolar disorder, and has been searching for answers in his own life while working on the discovery and preservation of oriental culture. During a trip to Taiwan in 2018 Johnny Zhao first delved into the traditional color system and pattern system of China and Japan, and realized that the Eastern culture is not only a great treasure of human civilization, but also an important source of power from which everyone who tries to find a way to create an extraordinary value in life can derive strength, and Mr.Zhao gained a great strength of calm from it, and from then on Mr. Zhao also gained great peace of mind from it, and from then on, Gosen Handmade started a challenging and wonderful journey.
